Here we come, Tokyo Tower !

On our 3rd day in Tokyo, we had lunch (fried rice & ramen) at an eatery near Ikebukuro. After eating it, i concluded that i prefer the fried rice to ramen in Japan! Haha! Darlin & me were supposed to go Chinatown at Yokohama. However, wrong directions led us to Shibuya instead; we were supposed to transit at Shinagawa. Since we were at Shibuya already, we jolly well went shoppin there instead coz anyway, Shibuya was part of our itinerary. LOL!

We went inside 109 Tower. 109 Tower was supposed to b a shoppin paradise for ladies.. However, it might b coz it's a Saturday & moreover, it's onli the 3rd day of NY'09, it was so crowded and noisy that i could not bear with it! The salegals of each shop were shoutin everywhere, and they were competin with one another to bring in more customers into their own shops! The noise was so deafening, and the ppl were so squeezy that Darlin & I exited 109 Tower within 20mins. *Cannot stand it*

We walked ard the streets of Shibuya, and realized that Shibuya is realli a nice shoppin place (apart from 109 Tower). There was a 3 storey tall Adidas store! There was also a ard 4 level tall electronics city!!! In the electronics city, juz handphones, and MP3s alone occupied one whole level! Digital cameras and lappies occupied another level! The remainin 2 levels, hehheh, i've forgotten! LOL

As late afternoon approached, Darlin & me made our way to Tokyo Tower! We alighted at Hamamatsucho station, and walked ard 20mins b4 reachin Tokyo Tower! Thought the queue was long, it was fast movin. We queued for abt 45mins. The tix was 820yen (ard SGD13/pax) to go to the 150m mark. Additional 600yen (ard SGD10) was needed to go up to the 250m mark. We had wanted to go up to the 250m mark. However, as it was already very dark, we were unable to take muchie pics. Therefore, we onli stopped at the 150m mark. On our way back from Toyko Tower, we bought some Tokyo Bananas (original flavor; chocolate flavor is yuckie), and Chocolate mochi for ur family & friendz in S'pore.

Next, we went to Shinjuku for dinner. We had Sushi as starters, followed by Hamburger steak for abt 1000yen (abt SGD16/pax). Darlin had Japanese style hamburger steak while i had cheese fondue style. Surprisingly, mine turned out to be yuckie while Darlin's one is yummie!! We then went to Starbucks at ard 10pm (Japan time) and had White Chocolate Mocha. *nice* We sat outside Starbucks with the wind blowin at us. This was all thanx to Darlin's suggestion..... He said he liked the idea of havin a hot drink with the chily wind blowin in our face..... *faint* We left at ard 10:45pm, and went back to the hotel coz i simply cannot stand the chill anymore!!! Arghhh!!!

In Tokyo

Darling & I had lunch at First Kitchen. It's actualli a pasta fastfood. I LOVE the pasta here! It's so YUMMIE!!! Though it might not look as appetizing (refer to above pic), but it realli tasted YUMMIE!!

We then proceeded to Disneyland!! It cost 5,800yen (SGD92) per pax! But it was a realli worthwhile experience! The moment we entered, it's as if we're livin in a fairytale! The deco in there is realli nice! It's like wat we c in storybooks!! Wow! The rides there were interestin too! Darlin & I sat 4 rides in all! We found "It's a Small World After All" interestin, and we like "Peter Pan" the most coz it's realli as if we're flyin & overlookin at the buildings & ppl beneath our feet! Cool!!!

We left Disneyland at ard 5pm but it's already rather dark. We went to Shinjuku to source for Mt. Fuji tour. We walked till our leg almost broke. In the end, we were told that no buses is able to take us up to Mt. Fuji as it was snowin there, and the view isn't clear. *sighz* I know Darlin was rather disappointed that we were unable to go to Mt. Fuji...... I wasn't realli keen to go... But seein Darlin so sad, i was saddened too..... ='(

We had dinner at Shinjuku. We walked ard until we noticed a shop dat has a meal which consists of a bowl of fried rice & Ramen for onli 690yen (abt SGD11). It was by far the cheapest meal dat we had! Haha! Darlin & me were so famished dat we each had a meal! I like the fried rice! The rice is sticky and yet delicious!

We then went to "Family Mart" and bought a few munchies back to the hotel as we did not manage to find a cosy place for coffee... One of the foodies dat we bught was a fruit jelly. It was a very refreshin taste! Both Darlin & me LOVED it!!!

Backtrackin to 30th Dec 2008

Did nth muchie today.. Went back office to settle some outstandin requirements, then we went to Boss's house @The Makena for a BBQ.. Was supposed to b a BBQ for mgmt onli... As i'm Darlin's spouse, so i went along too.. However, as expected, not onli mgmt turned up, even top producers like Joshua and another new guy (whom i dunno his name) was also there.. Leonard's new consultant, Xijin, was there too.. Perle's elder sis and family were there too.. Ppl who seems like Boss's own friendz were there too.. *funny dat it was supposed to b a BBQ for onli mgmt* We even celebrated Perle's sis's daughter's BD at the BBQ... Haha...

When i reached the BBQ initially, i had expected it to b another one of those borin ones where i'll b alone while Darlin'll b entertainin the other colleagues.. I dun wanna Darlin to feel awkward dat he still gotta accompany me even though i'm in JCO too.. So i juz try to make myself look occupied with thingys to do, but to no avail..

Luckily, I met Xijin.. As Xijin is a newcomer, she dunno much of the colleagues there.. She and I sat at the same spot.. So we started to chat.. Then we realized dat we're actualli of the same species, to my amazement! Haha! Xijin's someone who dun like to put on a mask, has her own set of thinkin, not easily influenced by others, wouldn't easily open herself up to others unless she knows that the other party is of the same species as her! Wow! We're so alike! She's 22 this yr, while her bf whom she juz got together for abt half a yr is 32yrs old! Anyway, love has no boundaries! Hee! I also got to know dat she's a teochew! Same as me! Haha! When she realized dat we can get along, she even suggested havin' lunch together next time! *so happy*

At nitez, Darlin and me watched the "Tong (1) Tian (1) Gan (4) Tan (4)" espisode 33 till 37 which we rented as we were anxious to find out the ending! If not, we'll mizz the endin as by then we'll still b in Japan! It was quite excitin to watch the drama! By the time it ended, it's already near 5am! Haha! The amazing thingy is Darling managed to watch till the last espisode with me! Haha! In fact to me, when Jingjing died in the show, i already have no mood to watch since it's not a happy endin.. But i told myself to watch finished it in case the story has a twist to it... But alas, no twist; Jingjing was realli dead.. Sighz.. and Jinlong got together with Yaru... Sighz.. Dun like this endin... =-( But luckily Huo-Sir survived, and he lived happily together with Yu-Jie, Jiajia, and Xiaobin! Heehee! *happy*

A considered-to-b SPECIAL day

Today is the 1st time in so long since Darlin & me realli spent a day together!!! From the moment i woke up, I see Darlin beside me.. We had lunch together... After that we went to office to settle some outstanding premiums and some follow-up.. We then went home... Then Darlin bought dinner back for me! So happy!!!!

Even though Darlin & me are workin in the same office, we seldom get to spend one whole day together.. This is wat a lot of ppl din know.. Lotsa friendz thought that since we're workin together, we definitely get to c each other 24hrs of the day... But this is not so as Darlin & me both have our own clientele base to take care of...

Though nth muchie is done for today, but as long as Darlin is by my side, everythingy else doesn't matter..... =P

A Betta than Expected Sunday

1st of all, i wanna congratz myself for hitting QC yesterday... However, i'm not realli elated as i was realli expectin myself to hit QCE instead.. sighz.. *saddened*

After Darlin's soccer practise with Gary, he bought lunchie (black cha tou kway) back for me! He got it from Punggol Blk 199.. However, it din taste realli nice coz tink it's tabao back one.. Haha! A while later, i slept while Darlin continued to watch Mommy 3 (after 3 consecutive failed attempts).. LOL! A pity the DVD gotta jammed halfway thru.. At the same time, Daddy & Mommy were back from hp shoppin (Daddy got Nokia E71).. Darlin & me then prepared to go to Metro Sale @Expo!

At the sale, there were SOOO many thingys spread out all over Hall 5 dat we din know where to start from! Finally we got dark blue backpack for onli $33.90! We proceeded to Popular Sales @Hall 6!! Upon enterin the hall, Darlin & me realized dat Popular sales is more suitable for us as the thingys interest us more! Haha! We bought a silver photoframe for onli $4.90, and 2 A4 size arch files (white & green) for onli $5.80!!! Wow! Darlin then sent me to Yishun to meet Charmayne 1st as both Charmayne, and me had prepared a post X'mas gift for each other.

We met at Charmayne's mama house carpark. She got me a 2GB cartoon character thumbdrive! I LOVE iT! I needed a thumbdrive! Haha! This reminds me of an embarrasin incident which took place @LJS Yishun 10. Charmayne & James had juz came back from their honeymoon in Taipei. She had wanna to show me a very cute thumbdrive which she got from Taipei. But as it was quite nosiy @LJS, i thought the thumbdrive was meant for me! *faint* Haha! So embarassin! *blushin*

Then Darlin sent me to Granny's place while he went to Ang Cheng Hui's weddin @Safra Mt Faber. Jason had come to S'pore yesterday and i had promised him dat i'd bring him to eat KFC.. Jason is still so close to me after we haven't seen each other for so long.. I felt realli happy to see Jason!!!

We shopped @Northpoint. Not long after, i'd already for Jason a Tom and Jerry savings box, a Tom and Jerry pencil case, a Simba storybook, and a set of 6 correction tapes! He was so happy! Then we went to eat his fav. KFC!!! He also asked for a Mac Strawberry Sundae as dessert too! Haha!

I sent him back to granny's place, promisin to bring him to LJS the next time as he said he wanna try it... =P
