HK Day 1

Took the 6:40am flight to HK with Gary & Eileen! Juz in time for lunch when we checked in @our hotel, Evergreen Hotel HK, @ard 12:30pm. The room took all of us by surprise! It was EXTREMELY small!!! And, the bed is single-size bed!! *faintz* Even the bathroom, & bathtub is onli good enough for one person to walk!!... Guess wat, we even caught 5"Xiaoqiangz" in the bathroom!!... And, when it rains, we can even feel abit of the rain in the bathroom... Arrgh!! And to tink dat the hotel was awarded one of the "Quality" hotels award..... But to b fair, I muz say the location of the hotel is realli very conveniently located... Probably, if we were to try the hotel again next time, we shld ask for a bigger room! LOL!

Anyway, it rained the whole day! Had lunch @the eatery next to our restaurant. The foodies looked realli delicious from the pics... But we were all SO WRONG!

Gary ordered Yang Zhou Fried Rice (which's the safest choice, and therefore, tasted the most normal), Eileen ordered Pork Chop in Instant Noodles (onli the Pork Chop is nice), Darlin ordered Luncheon Meat with Egg in Instant Noodles (the noodles is realli too bland!) while I ordered Ham in Macaroni Soup (the ham tasted not so nice but I dunno how to describe while the Macaroni is realli bland too!).. As for the drinks, mine's the worst! Thought Ice Honey Lemon is the safest choice, and yet, it tasted AWFUL! It tasted like cough syrup! *faintz*

Of coz it's shoppin time after lunch! Haha! We made our way to our 1st destination: Fa Yuen Street & Ladies Street which's @Mongkok Station. As the rain started pourin down on us even more mercilessly, we had no choice but to seek shelter @Xu Liu Shan (a dessert shop famous for its Mango dessert). We thought the dessert would help to make up for the lousy lunch.. But again, we were WRONG! The 4 of us shared a coconut with red bean pastry which tasted realli normal, radish cake which is very salty (in fact, even the chilli is salty, too!), & Egg White with Bird Nest which tasted very normal, too... Onli Eileen's Mango Platter is YUMMIE! *angry* Lousy lunch, and lousy dessert!

Bought a big, blue calculator (SGD9), and a Spongebob Keychain (SGD2) for Jason, a Man U jersey set (SGD9 each) for Boy Boy and another Inter Milan set for BB Javier, while Darlin bought a casual belt for onli SGD2 coz he has forgotten to bring his along! LOL! We rested our aching legs @a nearby DeliFrance. Wow! We've already spent SGD300 already even w/o buyin anythingy muchie! Well, coz most of our money were spent on transport, and foodies! Haha!

We then went to Causeway Bay. We had dinner @Yoshinoya so dat we can keep within budget... Hee.. After dinner, we continued to shop! Darlin bought a MPS from Uniqlo!

Next is Tsim Sha Tsui! We walked along the streets, but nth caught our eyes. We walked all the way back to our hotel in Jordan! By then, we nearly couldn't feel our legs anymore.. We rested 45mins in the hotel b4 meetin up again to walk to Temple St from our hotel. It was onli a 5mins walk! Wow! We shopped there for an hr+ b4 we stopped for dessert at a dessert stall opp our hotel. I din eat muchie @the dessert stall.. But I was hungry.. So Darlin went to the 7-11 besides our hotel to buy instant Radish Cake for me. Who knows, the steamin hot radish cake toppled over in the lift... Sighz.. Well, I was @fault, too.. But I vented my anger on Darlin coz I was realli VERY hungry then! Luckily, Darlin was very understandin.. Not onli did he bear with my temper, he also initiated to go down to buy another one for me... But I told him I dun wan...
