Darlin & me went to Marina Square to do some last min shoppin as i haven't get any tops for CNY... As we shopped ard, a staff from Kbox passed us a phamplet. Upon closer look... Kbox is havin a One-For-One promo for members! And... I'm a member! I knew Darlin wanna go.. But i haven't made up my mind so i told him see first..
Initially the trip seemed fruitless.. Finally i managed to get a top, and a dress from Bega! I was so happy! Especially the dress which realli surprised me as it fits me very well!!! Haha! By the time we've done the shoppin, it's already 8.45pm! Wow! So fast! It's dinner time!! As i wanna eat the onion ringz @Carl's Junior (the onion rings are fanstastic, & Super Delicious!), we went to Carl's Junior to specially eat the onion ringz 1st b4 goin to the food court to eat.. Darlin had Taiwan Lu Rou Fan, while i had Tom Yum Claypot Kway Teow.. Mine's SUCKZ! *faintz* The Tom Yum base was so so so sour!!! arghh!!! Spoilt my appetite... Luckily, b4 dat i had the onion ringz... If not, i'll feel so angry at not havin a good dinner! =(
Darlin then voiced out dat he wanna go Kbox.. So we went! It was abt $32 for 2 pax.. Not bad! Quite a good deal! I LOVE to go to KTV with Darlin as i can scream, and shout, and sing in any way i want w/o feelin embarassed... Haha! We sang from abt 10pm till 1:30am... It was great fun! =p

A "Japan-ing" NYE 2009
For this new year 2009, i countdowned on the plane! It was my 1st time celebratin New Year overseas, & it's in Japan! I was very excited!!! The flight was 2345hrs. Thru'out the almost 7hrs journey, i slept for less than 45mins! Guess i was probably too excited to sleep!! Haha!
Japan is an hr ahead of S'pore. When we reached Tokyo, the sun was so blarin that i thought it's realli hard to believe that it's between 4 to 5 degrees celsius! Our 1st mission upon reachin Japan was to meet Joe's friend, May, at Nippori station. Joe will be stayin at May's house till we go to Osaka on 5th Jan'09. The transportation network of Tokyo is realli complicatin! We stayed at the airport for quite sometime juz to figure out how to go to Nippori station! *faint* Haha!
After Joe has met up with May, we (Darlin, me, Kelvin, Eunice, & Bobby) took a train to our hotel, Hotel Ohedo, located at Ikebukuro. We then met up with Joe and May again to go shop ard at Harajuku ( shown in the pics above). We had sushi there. The window shop was not bad except dat coz it's realli too expensive, i haven't had the heart to buy anythingy there.. Haha!
Before we knew it, it's evenin time! We made our way to Sensoji Temple at Asakusa. It was a realli grand temple! As it was new year day, and the ppl in Japan placed emphasis on the day itself, there's a ceremony outside the temple where ya see ppl queuein at a spot, and runnin together towards the temple (although i do not know the reason for it, but it seems a great deal as there was even police there to keep the whole situation under control). Near the shoppin streets of the temple, Darlin & me walked on our own. We bought a Yakitori, and 5 little pieces of chicken bites which cost us 500 Yen each (abt SGD8)! *Expensive*
Darling and me then had dinner with Kelvin, Eunice, & Bobby at "Tian Xia Yi Pin". We had Ramen and Gyoza. The dinner was okie, not too bad! =)
We then went back to the hotel as we were rather tired after the long flight....
