BB Gioanne & Slumdog Millionaire !

BB Gioanne is here!!! @12.59pm on 28th Feb 2009, weighin 2.87kg & of height 49cm! Wow! Wow! Wow! When I recevied the SMS from Gary while I was crossin the road to go to the car, mix feelings of happiness, envy, and amazement overwhelmed me ALL @the same time! Just yesterday, Eileen was tellin Darlin dat she has a feelin dat BB Gioanne will be born today! And yes! There she is! So happy for Gary & Eileen! This BD is gonna b a very special BD for Gary coz he has the companionship of BB Gioanne!!!

I went to Granny's place in the noon time while Darlin went for his appt @CCK. Saw BB Javier @Granny's place.. BB Javier has become a naughty boy now.. He simply screams, and wails @anyone, and anythingy... Arghh!!! His wailing nearly drove me crazy... His attention span for any activity has become v.short... And this has caused inconvenience for Granny as Granny needs to constantly carry BB Javier (BB Javier is rather heavy now since he's 7mths old now), and bring him downstairs for a stroll b4 he'll stop wailing... Even when ya carry him in ur arms, he'll juz wriggle, and wriggle...

After dinner @Granny's place, Darlin & I went to watch Slumdog Millionaire @Tampines Mall @9:10pm. It was rainin cats & dogs by the time we left Granny's place.. It took us sometime to get a parkin lot @Tampines Mall especially since it's rainin.. Slumdog Millionaire was such a popular show dat we onli managed to get the 2nd row centre seats..

When Darlin asked me if I wanna watch Slumdog Millionaire, I was quite resistent initialli as I thought it's a Tamil show.. Then after viewin thru' the many good crtitics dat it has, and Darlin's assurance dat the casts mostly speak English, I gave in. It was realli a nice movie! The settin was unique, and there's reflection of the cruel doings in the 3rd countries.. Of coz, it also involved true love which makes it touchin, and also the fact dat blodd is thicker than water. Overall, it's realli a nice movie! At least, it's betta than wat I've expected! =p

By the time the movie ended, it's already 11:30pm! So Darlin & I went home! Hee

Curry Kway Chap & NATAS Fair !

Had CURRY Kway Chap for lunch today! *faintz* It's my 1st time! It's so yuckie! Dun understand how come the Kway Chap is curry flavored?!!! Moreover, I was REALLI hungry @dat time! And yet, I still gotta eat such yuckie thingys for lunch?!!! I'm so not satisfied dat I went to buy a bread to eat.. Haha! The Red Bean Cheese Bread is yummie!! Haha!

Time to go NATAS! We need to get our Honeymoon Package in this NATAS Fair! We reached Expo @ard 3:45pm, and started our search for the package! The crowd wasn't as muchie as I've expected.. But still, it's quite a lot of ppl (since the carpark was FULL) considerin dat it's a weekday noon.. One of the travel agencies which we went to was FIVE STARS. B4 we stepped into the booth, I've already had quite bad impression of them due to unhappy experiences of my own, and friendz. But still, I thought I'll give them another chance.. Who knows... Sighz... My impression of them became WORSE after askin them abt their Korea Tour Package! The person who attended to us treated us as if we were fools, sayin dat the other Korea tour packages by other tour agencies might seen to have fantanstic itineraries, however, the travelin time from one city to another might take as long as 7hrs! *faintz* LOUSY FIVE STARS!!!

After a few hrs of scoutin & discussion, Darlin & I finally decided on the 8 dayz Korea tour package by Chan Brothers! Includin airport tax, it's only $1,436 /pax NETT! Deviation charge is $175/pax! Probably, we'll extend for another 4-5 dayz! Hee! Thru'out the 8 dayz, we'll stay in 5 & 6 stars hotel! I was realli enticed by all the shoppin listed in the itinerary! Wow! Shoppin!!!

We paid $2k as deposit out of the total bill of $3,222 (includin deviation charge). As we charged it to our DBS card, Darlin & I were able to get a 20" free trolley luggage which looked quite cool since it's black color! Hee! We also received a complimentary Whitenin Sun Block of SPF39, a toner, and a Q10 Shower Gel from Beauty Credit! Haha!

By the time we left Expo, it's already 8pm! Wow! And to tink dat we haven't had dinner! *so hungry*

Back to Basics !

Started the day with the usual Unit Meetin.. Leonard chaired the meetin.. So the meeting ended within 15mins! *so happie*

Went to meet Antonia and her hubby @CompassPoint as they wanna take up the education policy for BB Nigel! Haha! BB Nigel is so cute! I carried him today! He did not wail and scream! And, he's so chubby!!! *so so cute*

Since I was already @CompassPoint, I went to Godmom's place to trim my hair which I've been delayin for so long! Feel so refreshin after the trim! Makes my head lighter! LOL

Darlin then came to fetch me home.

When Darlin went for appt, I went back to basics to call my prospects! I called for an hr! I felt great after dat! A few appts were fixed! *happie again*

Catchin Up

Met up with Dong Hai today. WOW! He's married, and his wife is now pregnant! Never a word did he mention dat he was married! Has been almost one a half yrs since we last met up... One look and ya know he's a 100% dotin husband, and daddy-to-b.. So happy for him!

Lookin @my watch... There's still abt another two an a half hrs to the next appt. Sis happened to call me, and we decided to meet up @Orchard to kill time. Her friendz whose age ranges between 19-25 (all SO YOUNG!) were with her too.. I felt so outta place.. Haha! Went with Sis to Far East Plaza as she wanna tone down her color. After comparin prices from a few salons, she settled on Klear Cut! A cut + color + treatment for only $68! Not bad lahz horz? Haha!

Next, I went to City Hall for next appt scheduled @6pm. Who knows, Irene was delayed by 30mins. And, Darlin happened to call me while I was waitin for Irene. Darlin reached earlier for his appt scheduled @6:30pm. Both of us went to look ard for a place to eat with our appt dates.. We decided dat Thai Express is the best choice. @dat moment, Darlin's appt, Angeline reached. Darlin & I went to meet her together. Both Angeline & I hit it off immediately! We chatted abt weddin thingys mostly! Haha! We were so engrossed in our chat dat she asked me to join Darlin & her till Irene comes.. LOL! In the end, Irene came @7:30pm...

Chatted with Irene for abt an hr and a half! Wow! I then went to join Darlin & Angeline @another table. Angeline is realli a very nice person! Because of her, I was convinced dat our honeymoon location will b KOREA! She even wrote me a lost of items from Face Shop Korea dat I shld look out for! So sweet of her! *thankie, Angeline*

Darlin & I headed for home @ard 9:30pm as the courier service lady for Royal Bank of Scotland will reach our place @10:30pm.

@BE Sanctuary Spa Taka

Went to catch up with Jasmine from ManuLife @2pm @DeliFrance Taka. As alwaz, the chat with Jasmine was great! I then went for my facial appt @BE Sanctuary Spa located inside Taka @4:30pm with Sis. As usual, Sis was late... But this time, only for 5mins.. Haha!

When we reached, one of the staff asked us to fill up our particulars on a form. By the time we finished fillin up, it was already 5pm! Sis went to another separate room.. The beautician who was supposed to attend to me was delayed by her previous customer. When she started on my beauty regime, it was already 5:10pm..

The whole process went quite smoothly.. The equipment used was good. At least it managed to get rid of most of the impurities on my face painlessly. Squeezin was inevitable for the more stubborn blackheads.. Haha! But still, it was not as painful as my current beautician. The beautician who served me was friendly, and din try to hard-sell me too, which is the most important thing as I get realli turned off by ppl who try to hard-sell me..

As expected, after the whole facial regime ended, she introduced some facial packages to me. She tols me that they're havin a promo now, and dat I can get to enjoy 20 times facial for the price of $1.2k instead of the usual 10 times. She even mentioned dat I can share the package with my Sis, which makes it $600 for each of us. I find the price reasonable as it's only $10/time more expensive compared to my current one. Moreover, each facial by BE Sanctuary Spa comes with a firmin eye mask! Ya know, the area ard the eye is REALLI important as we grow older. But still, I told the beautician dat I needa tink it over as I wanna discuss with my Sis 1st (my Sis had already rushed off to catch a movie, leavin me to face the "battle" alone). The beautician okayed.. She then walked outta the room for a while. When she came back, she said dat she's able to offer me either another 5 times facial treatment, or 5 times eye treatment for the same $600! Wow! So meanin to say $600 for 15 times facial treatment! Dat's a very good deal! I signed the package on the spot then!

I was feelin rather satisfied abt the whole thingy until a female manager came into the room while the beautician who was servin me went out to settle the payment for me after I've passed her my credit card. This female manager tried to talk me into signin another type package which cost $900 for 35 times. The amt seems reasonable except dat I dun tink I need dat type of package now. She then turned hostile, and tried to hard-sell me! I got rather angry as the beautician was still takin her own sweet time to come in so dat the female manager has more time to hard-sell (when I've already made it clear to her dat I DUN LIKE to b HARD-SELL!). And, most importantly, I do NOT have the time to let the female manager hard-sell me more as Darlin is waitin for me so dat he can send me to Granny's place for dinner!

Luckily, the bill settlement was done b4 I couldn't control myself. I flew as fast as I could to meet Darlin @Wheelock. Then I went to Granny's house for dinner while Darlin went for his appt. By the time, Darlin came to fetch me home, it was already 11pm. We stayed @Granny's place till 11:45pm as Darlin has not visited Granny since CNY Eve.

Next was Home Sweet Home!

1st Time In The Kitchen !

For the 1st time, I cooked!!! Yes!!! I can't believe it! The entire process was done by me, myself, & I! LOL! Dunno y, but I told myself I wanna cook pasta for Darlin today! Haha! Though it was juz instant Cabonara, I was still amazed @myself as I've never cooked b4! Friendz whom've known me for a long time, ya guyz shld know.. Heehee

Initialli, I was realli doubtful of how the Cabonara will turn out to b.. I tried abit while it was still cookin.. Yuckie.. Still, the pasta was hard to bite even though the contents were boilin already.. I was realli scared... After tryin another 2 times, Yuppie! The texture was finally right!

Excitedly, I poured the Cabonara into a plate, and let Darlin try........... Darlin took the 1st mouthful..... Wow! He gave me a score of 8.5 outta 10! Heehee! I realli felt a sense of satisfaction after cookin for Darlin! I dunno y either.. Hee! Anyway, I know Darlin is realli happy to have eaten home-cooked food by me! I juz wanna Darlin to b happy! I told Darlin dat I'll cook for him again very soon after I've figured out wat other instant food are available.. After all, I'm so new in cookin.. So I'll juz start with the very ez ones, correct? Heehee

Darlin then sent me to office to submit some documents to 7th Level, followed by Jurong Point by I'll have 3 consecutive appts from 4pm till 9pm! Wow!

The 1st 2 appts ended quite on time... But not the last one.. It ended @10pm instead! By the time I reached home, it was already 11:30pm! So late I was dat I mizzed the 11pm repeated broadcast of Lv (4) Zheng (4) Xin (1) Ren (2) Wang (2) II... *sighz*

A Short but EXCITIN Day !!!

Why is today a short day for me?... Haha! I woke up @1:45pm! *faintz* Shocked me.. It's so late already.. I almost forgotten dat we're meetin the Graphics Designer, Man Hu, @Golden Horse Award (GHA) to change some of the layout of our weddin album. LOL

Had lunch @Zi Zai Vegetarian. The mixed rice was delicious! Darlin & I loved it! We then walked over to GHA which is less than 5mins' walk away. We were on time. Who knows, the Graphics Designer wasn't on time! Arghh!! *angry* We were kept waitin for ard 20mins!

Man Hu is quite a friendly lady. When she turned up, she explained to us dat she was late coz she went for lunch as she was juz done with a customer not long ago.. Her honesty & friendliness removed the anger in me.. Haha! She was quite a patient lady too! She changed the layout for us.. But Darlin & I weren't satisfied with the designs.. She then changed it again, and again.. All this while, she was still wearin a smile on her face.. =)

Finally, we were done with the layout, & 1.5hrs flew past! Haha! But Darlin & I were rather happy with the layout, and I'd say, RELATIVELY HAPPY coz it's definitely muchie nicer compared to the original layout! Haha!

We then went to Tampines Giant to shop for groceries, and the instant pasta at I promised Darlin I'll cook for him tmm! I'm quite excited @the thought of makin pasta tmm! Hee! Darlin suggested teachin me drivin after leavin Giant.. I was shocked @his suggestion.. For a moment, I thought Darlin was kiddin.. But apprently, he's not.... Both Darlin & I then excitedly went to a deserted area for me to start my drivin lessons! Boy was I excited!!! Haha! Darlin taught me to feel the steerin wheels, brakes, and accelerator! I learnt how to U-turn, and to estimate the brakin distance of the car! Cool!!!

Practised for a while. Then Darlin went to meet Vera, after which we met up with Gary & Eileen @S-11 Tampines for dinner. We had some drinks @Ya-Kun Tampines Mall b4 watchin "Look for a Star" starrin Andy Lau, & Shu Qi @Tampines Mall. I find the show quite romantic, with a mix of comedy. In fact, it's the best chinese show I've watched this yr! LOL! It was betta than I expected! Darlin also quite liked the show. But Eileen dun like.. *scratches head*
