Meetin, Client Seminar, & Ti's Concert !!!

Yupz, juz doin the abovementioned 3 thingys today, my Sat is over.. Haha!

After meetin today, went for lunch with Darlin! Saw Gary Loh, and joined him for lunch.. Later, we were joined by Kok Siong! As usual, chatted with Kok Siong.. He gave me lotsa important advice, & tips! *thankie, Kok Siong*

Client Seminar was @Orchard Parade Hotel. Thankie to Angie dat Darlin was able to get complimentary parkin! LOL! The seminar was divided into 3 sections where the 1st section was by Russell Grp Lim Meng Tat who addressed us on investments in this uncertain times. It was of coz a very dry topic.. 2nd section was by Image Master, Suzanne Zheng, who addressed the issue of dressin to kill! Surprisingly, her section was very interestin! I was kept awake the WHOLE time! Haha! 3rd & last section was by Eunice. It din last very long though..

On seein dat we still have some spare time, Darlin & I shopped ard Forum. Might b coz we haven't been to Forum for quite sometime, we tink dat Forum has changed! It has now changed to a shoppin mall dat is catered more for kidz! Wow! Haha! After walkin ard for a while, Darlin & I were hungry! Darlin suggested eatin Maggi Goreng @an Indian Stall near NUS (we're goin NUS in the evenin for Ti's Concert). Darlin said dat the Maggi Goreng there is realli tasty! So we went there!

We waited for less than 10mins b4 the Maggi Goreng came! @1st bite.... Wow! It was indeed delicious! But it was fillin enough.. It might b coz we're simply too hungry! Haha! We then ordered another egg prata, supposedly to share.. But in the end, I ate most of it! LOL!

We reached NUS UCC @7:10pm. While waitin for Fen to come with the tix, I was mistaken by one of the VIP dat I'm one of the performer coz I was wearin all black, which's the same color as the performer! Haha! Tink the VIP had wanna asked me for directions initialli, but when she saw the confused look on my face, she asked if I'm here for the concert.. I answered "Yes", then she said nvm and walked away! LOL!

Fen came with Joyce & Andy @exactly 7:15pm.. I muz say Fen is ALWAZ late! So I was quite surprised dat she reached on time! LOL! Mayb coz she met Joyce & Andy b4hand? Anyway, lucky dat she din keep me waitin for long! Haha! I smiled @Joyce when I saw her & Andy.. But I guessed she was too engrossed in her bliss dat she din noticed it.. When she finalli saw me, she smiled abit, and walked on into UCC while we stood outside (coz Fen was lookin for Ti's friend to pass her the tix too).. I mean, even if she's goin to the Ladies, can't she juz stop and say dat she's goin to the Ladies & asked us to wait for her??? No.. She din.. She juz walked on ahead... Even Fen din know where Joyce went until Fen called her.. And indeed, she went to the Ladies..

Anyway, the awkward feelin was still there when I saw her partly coz even when I took the 1st intiative to smile & wave @her, she seem to treat me as if I'm transparent.. But I thought to myself "Mayb she realli din c me.. Nvm.. I'll wait for another chance to talk to her again.."

I onli slept abit durin the 1st half of the concert.. Fen, Joyce, and I then went to the Ladies together.. Fen & Joyce went into the cubicles 1st.. Who knows, I was the 1st to come out! @ 1st, I din know.. Then I searched ard for the both of them.. I wondered if I'm too slow or wat.. Could they have gone out already? Then I saw Joyce came out of the cubicle.. This time I seized the chance to break the ice with her.. I said "Wow! Thought ya gals had went out already.. Scared me.. Haha!" Guess her reaction??? She juz nodded.. Dat's all.. Wat's wrong with her? Thought she was the one who suggested buryin the hatchet? Sighz...

After the concert, Darlin & I went home as I'm pretty tired already...

Sanrio, & Botak Jones !!!

Rotted the whole afternoon @home today... Seein dat I was so bored, Darlin agreed to bring me to Plaza Sing (PS) to shop ard! Yuppie! Hee!

We reached PS near 6pm. Guess the economy has realli badly affected a lot of ppl as there weren't many shoppers ard... kWhile shoppin ard, I realized dat Cousin Jacqueline's BD is round the corner! As she LOVES Hello Kitty, I kept a special lookout for Hello Kitty's stuff.. Who knows, I spotted Sanrio shop!!! *so lucky* Darlin & I shopped loitered in there for quite sometime, wonderin wat shld we get for Jacqueline.. Shld we get a Hello Kitty soft toy? Hmm.. Seems too childish.. A trolley bag since she often flies ard? But the trolley bag costs $500! *faintz* Or mayb a watch? But a watch?? Dunno if Jacqueline is okie with it coz of the meanin attached to a watch... Sighz.. We looked ard further, hopin to see some practical stuffs such as bedroom slippers or a house phone... But none.. The staff said the bedroom slippers is one of the prize dat we might get to win if we spend $50 & above..

Finalli, we saw a makeup pouch! It looks decent & practical enough! However, it's mainly black in color.. Tink Jacqueline will prefer pink.. I then went to ask the staff.. He recommended us a make-up kit instead! The make-up kit looks muchie betta, and much pro!!! Cool! We got dat instead! And it cost onli $74.95! Coz, we spent more than $50, we participated in the lucky draw.. And guess wat???!!! We won a pair of Hello Kitty Bedroom Slippers! *faintz* But, the slipper doesn't look very nice though... Haha! We also got to receive 2 Sanrio 2009 Datebook coz for every $30 spent, we'll receive 1! Oh.. 1 more thingy, I wanna comment on the staff who attended to us.. He's a realli friendly guy! =)

Darlin & I then shopped ard @Carrefour.. Along the way, I'm famished! Darlin was also starvin! Seein dat there's not muchie thingys to buy anyway, we went off to Bedok to eat dinner @Botak Jones! It's been quite sometime since we had Botak Jones!

Darlin had Fish & Chips while I had Cajun Chicken! Surprisingly, my Cajun Chicken came within 10mins while Darlin's Fish & Chips came almost 30mins later! *faintz* While waitin for Darlin to order, I realized dat the pasta from Gourmet Pizza & Pasta looks realli delicious! I told Darlin dat I wanna eat dat the next time round we come! Heehee!

The fries servings were realli big... We din manage to finish all... We then went home to watch the 9pm SCV show... =P

Flu, and Paperwork

Darlin went out early to play billiard with Gary & Rongwei.. Borin.. Dunno wazzup with these bunch of guyz.. Even willin to wake up so early to juz PLAY... It can b billiard, it can b soccer too.. Juz dun understand them... Darlin initialli said he'll b back @1+pm.. Then he delayed till 2+pm.. By the time he's back with my lunch, it's already 3pm!!! *angry*

Luckily, got FangFang & Eileen to accompany me on MSN from ard 12:30pm till 3pm! I went from very hungry to not hungry, then again till very hungry! *angry*

After lunch, the flu virus caught me! Arghh!! I sneezed, and sneezed, and sneezed.. No choice.. I napped for abt an hr and a half.. Was already 5:15pm when I woke up.. The day sure flew passed! Haha!

I then did some sortin of the receipts so as to do E-File...

Nite time came, and as usual, I watched my fav. TV programme on SCV @8pm! Haha!

Breakfast, Appt, and Visitin Zhi Fu !!!

Wow! Unbelievable! Darlin actualli woke up rather early today to prepare breakfast for me! Though it's juz simple bread with butter spread, and the usual Similac Mum Milk, the breakfast was realli heartwarmin as it's very difficult to wake him up in the morn. Especially today, he woke up @ard 8am! *thankie, Darlin*

Attended a trainin in office today. Then stayed in office till it's time for me to collect the new lappie from S'pore Power Buildin! Darlin drove me there after which he sent me to Hougang Mall for an appt with Li Wei.

Realli happy for Li Wei when I heard dat he might b ROM-ing this Sep! I then went on ahead to give him some advice & tips as he sounded rather confused, and dunno whether he shld have the ROM to b a pte function or juz a simple one @the Registry itself. He has also signed on a Weddin Package from Bliss Bridal Studio! Nice!

Darlin & I then went to Jurong Point as Darlin has an appt there. While Darlin is havin his appt, I shopped ard Jurong Point. But somehow, I get tired easily.. So I din realli enjoy the shoppin.. Not long after I found a place to sit down, Darlin finished his appt! *luckily*

We then went for dinner @DeliFrance! Darlin had tuna crossiant while I had the chicken crossiant. Mine din turn out nice. So halfway thru, I exchanged with Darlin! LOL!

Next was to go visit Zhi Fu! Wow! Zhi Fu is already 2yrs old! When he saw us, he was so excited dat he kept on jumpin here & there! He's realli such a cute boy!!! He has also got a pair of extremely long eyelash! Wow! I believe he'll grow up to b handsome, fine young man who can even "kill" gals with juz his eye power! LOL! Zhi Fu also loves to kiss ppl! Haha! Such a cutie!!! We played with him for abt an hr plus b4 we headed back for home.. And dat's already 10pm! Haha!

1st Checkup !!!

Today is an EXCITIN day as it's the 1st day we're goin to c our Little Precious!!!

Firstly, I woke up and went for brunch with Angela.. It's been quite sometime since we dined together ever since she started her attachment in the school. As usual, we updated each other on a lot of thingys.. In fact, it's realli funny dat we still have thingys to update each other even when we're livin under the same roof! LOL!

Next, I read thru a forum wich FangFang recommended me so as to get me more prepared for the upcomin EXCITIN event! Haha! Soon after, Darlin came to fetch me to go East Shore for our 1st checkup!

I selected the same gynae as FangFang since it's a female.. Haha! Upon enterin East Shore, I tink it felt more like a hotel as the reception counter very much looked like one from the hotel! Haha! When one of the staff saw my puzzled look (since I dunno where's the clinic), he came over to assist me. He even went into the lift with us, and when it's the 2nd level, he even came out of the life and gave us the necessary directions! Haha! Not bad service woz! LOL!

The appt time was supposed to b 3:40pm.. But Darlin & I were late.. We reached onli @4pm instead.. Haha! The nurse then took my weight and blood pressure for me. Next, is urine test.. Luckily, I had expected it since FangFang had told me b4hand, so I had it ready! LOL!

We waited for a while more b4 for our turn. Finalli, it's our turn! EXCITIN!!! Dr Heng is a realli nice lady.. Friendly, and warm.. We scanned for Little Precious, and realized dat I'm 5 weeks already! Yuppie!!! My EDD is 17th Nov 2009! Yeah! However, as Little Precious is still too small to b seen, Dr Heng asked us to go back for another appt 2 weeks later. Still, Dr Heng snapped a pic of Little Precious, and put it into a a mini album for us! The mini album will note down all the changes of Little Precious! So now, the 1st pg is filled! *interestin*She then precribed me some medicine. In total, we had onli seen Dr Heng for abt 10mins.

Even though the thingys done today @the clinic is not a lot, the bill is not small! We paid $176! Wow! Little Precious indeed comes @a price! LOL!

Darlin then sent me to Granny's place for dinner while he went for his appt..

Focus Grp, and Appt

Attended a Focus Grp held by Prudential today @StarHub Centre. The session was from 1pm to 3pm.. It's meant for F.C.s to give their feedback on NB, PA, and Claims. Intialli I thought dat I'm definitely goin to b bored by it since it's a 2 LONG HRS session.. Who knows, the session turned out to b a very fruitful one where I got to meet 3 others very experienced F.C.s. One of them had even been in the industry for 28 yrs!!!! Wow!!! There were a total of 8 F.C.s with 2 other independent personnels chosen to pass our feedback to Prudential head. *interestin*

Next, I went to buy early dinner back home for Darlin as well as for myself.. Though it was only 4+pm @dat time, but Darlin & I were hungry as we had brunch @10+am...

After the early dinner, I was realli tired, and napped for 15mins b4 goin for an appt @Raffles Place. The appt was okie.. Nth muchie special.. Hee

By the time I reached home, it's already 9pm! Yuppie! Juz in time to watch the 9pm show on Channel 55! After the show, I showered & had dinner.. Hee

Meetin up with Sis

Did not do anythingy muchie today.. The usual had lunch, and watched TV.. But I completed readin Mother & Baby!!! Haha! Was quite a rewardin one! Learnt quite a lot from it! =p

Met up with Sis after 4pm @Tampines Mall. We ate abit, and shopped ard while. It was alwaz a wonderful thingy to meet up with Sis as we get to update each other on all the thingys dat we've mizzed out since we do not live together now.. Then Sis sent me home.. I showed her the albums which I had completed on V.Day!

She napped awhile b4 goin to meet her friendz.. Juz dun understand her.. Since she's so tired, and she gotta wake up @5+am tmm to work, y dun she juz go home and rest?? *scratches head*

I then continued to watch TV..
