Honeymoon Day 2

It was Day 2 @Jeju! We had Abalone Porridge for breakfast! We were the 2nd grp of tour grp to arrive @the eatery! Haha! The eatery has a great view which overlooks the sea.. Nice... The Abalone Porridge was green in color, and with no abalone in sight.. We were prepared for this as Allen has already explained to us on the coach dat the porridge was actualli made from the internal organs of abalones (Yuckie! It made me lose my appetite.. I'd rather he dun tell me abt it..), and even though it's called Abalone Porridge, and yet with no abalone in sight, was coz the abalone once "swam" in the porridge b4.. LOL!

After breakfast, we went to a place called Long Tou Yan (sth like Dragon Head Hill).. In Korea, the name is Yongduam Rock.. The dragon head can actualli b seen from the pics (with the sea behind us).. But this, ya muz use abit of ur creativity... Haha!

Next, we went to climb a mountain named Sungsan Sunrise Peak.. It was a very long mountain.. Onli Darlin & Liang Yi (a nice, and young lady in her early 20s) got to the top as they wanna take in the nice scenery from the top of the mountain.. It was a very tedious journey up.. So Liang Yi's Mom and I decided to rest our feet in a restin area in the mid of the mountain.. Haha! After the climb, Darlin & I shared a vanilla Ice-cream with Chocolate Chip! It was very YUMMIE! We also bought some chocolates which Jeju is famous for at Sungsan Sunrise Peak!

Lunch is BBQ Pork (from Black Pig) with rice and very BIG veggie! We were supposed to use the veggie to wrap the pork, and put it ONE MOUTHFUL into our mouth! Eatin it up in one mouthful symbolised dat all the good fortune has gone to ya all at one go, instead of diversifyin it up (sth like dat.. LOL).. Initialli when I heard dat the pork is from Black Pigs, I almost lost my appetite again.. Who knows, it turn out to b VERY TASTY! And I ate a lot of it.. Under Liang Yi's recommendation, I even tried the pork wrapped in seaweed! LOL! And, it was very tasty, too!!!

Next destination is Jeju Folk Village! There, we learn a lot abt Korea history & culture. E.g. White is a lucky color to Koreans! And even durin their CNY, they give white packets instead of red packets! Haha! We also saw the old houses of ancient Korea.. Cool!

We were supposed to sightsee @Lotte World Hotel Windmill, and its Casino.. Unfortunately, we din get the chance to stay for long as the leaders of Asia countries will b holdin a meetin @Lotte World Hotel the followin day, and tight security was being conducted to make sure dat the nearby areas were safe.. In the end, we onli managed to take a pic of the windmill...

Cheonjeyeon Waterfall is next! In fact, I dun c the reason y we went to sightsee the waterfall as it's juz a very normal one.. Nonetheless, since we were there already, we juz snapped a few pics under the hot sun! LOL! While we were near the entrance of Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Darlin saw a fountain called the Fountain of Five Blessings. The fountain symblizes the five blessings of Longevity (Tortoise), Wealth (Boar) , Honor (Dragon), Love (Mandarin Duck), and Sons (Carp). We're supposed to pick the blessing of our choice and stand in front of the animal symbol, and throw coins into the lucky bag in the centre. If the coin lands in the lucky bag, ya'll recieve dat blessing! Darlin selected Wealth (Boar).. Upon the 3rd attempt, the coin landed into the lucky bag! WooHoo!!!

We stayed there for a while b4 we set off to MAGIC ROAD aka MYSTERIOUS ROAD! It's a very amazin rd where it appears to b upslope, and yet, when cars switched off their engines, the cars continued to "travel up" the slope.. WOW! Allen told us dat this is juz an illusion, and dat the slope is actualli a downslope one.. However hard I stared @the slope, I still c it as an up slope.. *stratches head*

The last stop for the day was Jeju Shoppin Arcade.. I din buy anythingy from there coz none seems to suit me.. =-( Darlin & I walked ard, and by dat time, I was already quite hungry.. I thought the ride to our dinner place will b long, so I bought a Chicken Burger to fill my stomach 1st.. The burger tasted GREAT! Haha! However, the ride to the dinner place was very fast! Dinner was a BIG bowl of Ginseng Chicken Soup for each one of us! Since I juz had the burger, I was realli full.. Anyway, the soup wasn't to our expectations (even Liang Yi and her Mom said so).. Somehow, the ginseng smell wasn't strong enough.. So it was actualli a blessin in disguise dat I had ate the burger earlier.. LOL!

After dinner was back to Jeju Oriental Hotel! Darlin & I expored a shoppin street the hotel.. While shoppin ard, we bought a waffle with chocolate sauce & whipped cream.. The waffle seemed delicious... But appearances are deceivin.. Haha! Darlin even dirtied his jeans and jacket with the chocolate sauce while eatin the waffle as the wind was simply too strong.. We also went to shop @the E-Mart which is almost juz opposite our hotel! It was a very big departmental store!

We shopped a while there b4 headin back to the hotel.. =)

It's Xiao Chin (@16th Week) !!!

Darlin & I went to c Dr Heng excitedly today! We were hopin to c the gender of Little Precious today.. I'm in my 16th week... And have heard ppl sayin if it's a boy, we shld b able to c him today! Darlin & I weren't hopin particularly for a boy or gal.. To us, health is the most important!

We waited anxiously.. Finalli it's our turn! After Dr Heng said "Hi!" to us, we proceeded to scan.. Dr Heng said it's a boy... As she was rather soft when she said this, Darlin & I weren't sure wat we've heard.. She repeated it: it's a BOY! Haha! We saw Little Precious! It's Xiao Chin!!! LOL! I could c the happy yet tryin-to-hard-it smile on Darlin's face.. It was the exact same smile which he showed when he realized I was preggy!!! Haha! Dr Heng tried to show us the "bird bird" on Xiao Chin.. But Darlin & I couldn't realli c it.. Dr Heng continued sayin "100% boy!!!" Wow! Darlin & I were so happy to know the gender! Dr Heng also mentioned dat Xiao Chin is like Darlin.. Thin.. Xiao Chin weighs a mere 119g now.. Dr Heng said dat Xiao Chin gotta hit between 300g to 350g when we go back for the next checkup.. =) After the checkup, I immediately sms-ed FangFang abt it coz we were exchangin sms-es juz b4 I entered to do the checkup.. Next, I called Granny to tell her the good piece of news! Next, I called Mama to tell her abt it! I juz told so many ppl!!! I was juz too excited & happie!!!! Darlin said dat since we know it's Xiao Chin already, we can juz call Little Precious Boy Boy till we've thought of a name for Boy Boy! Haha!

Darlin, on the other hand, shown his happiness in another way.. He stayed rather calm abt it, instead of callin ppl up to tell them the good news.. He said this is the way men are.. They simply display their happiness in a different way from women.. LOL!

I was supposed to cut hair @AMK today.. The stylist, Aaron, was recommended by Angie.. However, when I called to make sure dat the stylist will b in @1pm today, even his colleagues said dunno wat time will he report for work. When the colleagues tried to contact, he din ans his phone.. His colleague said dat Aaron usualli report for work @5+pm.. He asked me to set an appt for Thurs instead.. But I decided against it coz dun tink I wanna such a big shot stylist.. I called Century Square Shunji Icon to ask for Young instead (highly recommended by FangFang).. Has set the appt for 1pm. Who knows, @12:54pm, the salon called to say dat Young juz called to say he's on MC.. *faintz* Wat a day.. I was so lookin forward to cuttin my hair short.... =-(

Well, no choice, I can onli get it cut tmm then.. Darlin sent me to Granny's place for lunch.. He tabao a packet of Cha Kway Teow from Granny's place.. LOL! I stayed @Granny's place till 5:30pm where Dad then sent me to North Point to settle my OCBC outstandin bill.. Was supposed to meet Ti @North Point @6am so dat he can send me to Sembawang Shoppin Centre (we're havin a belated BD Celebration for Ti).. Who knows he overslept and reached @6:15pm instead! LOL!

Had dinner @Astons Specialities @7pm.. There were onli Ti, Qinhui, & I.. Fen is late as usual... Joyce is SO bz dat she dun have time to join us (yest she was sayin she's SO BZ dat she dun even have time to go c GYNAE and we had a bit of argument over it on MSN).. Durin dinner, Qinhui revealed dat he knew abt the problems Joyce & I had coz Joyce has confided in him.. I told Qinhui my point of view too.. He continued to take a neutral stand, & said dat he'll talk to Joyce abt it, and c how he can help us to resolve the problems.. Anyway,the food and service were pretty okie @Astons (not as bad as wat's written in the forum).. By the time fen reached, it's already 8:30pm.. We had already finished dinner, and had shifted to MOF for dessert instead... *faintz*

On the way to MOF, I spotted James & Charmayne! So coincidence!!! I was so thrilled to c Charmayne!! Haha! They were goin to have dinner @MOF too!! LOL!

Darlin came to fetch me @9pm.. I then went off 1st.. =)
