Darlin & I have arranged to have an advance BD celebration for Darlin with Gary & Eileen tonitez @Kbox Downtown East! It's been abt 4mths since Darlin & I went to KTV! So excitin!
I met up with Eileen for dinner @Tampines Mall 1st as Darlin's appt will onli end @10+pm.. Eileen came to fetch me.. She parked her car @Tampines One as our last stop will b at Tampines One (I'm gettin the chocolate cake for Darlin from Rive Gauche Patisserie). I had dinner @Tampines Mall Food Court (Eileen had dinner at home already).. We then went off to Tampines One. Several ppl were queuein up to buy cakes by the time I reached even though it's near 9:30pm (Rive Gauche Patisserie closes @9:30pm). Luckily the sales person put dry ice in the cake...
Eileen almost lost her way while on the way to Kbox Downtown East. She even drove into Pasir Ris Interchange! It was after I asked her why she drove into the interchange dat she realized she had actualli done so! LOL!
Anyway, we eventualli got to Downtown East. We booked the room for 10:30pm. As we were early (it was abt 10:10pm then), we went to BK to eat and chit chat 1st! Finalli, it's 10:30pm! We made our way to Kbox!
Probably coz I've not been singin for quite sometime, it sorta felt great to b able to sing! I got to sing to my heart's content since there's onli Eileen & I, and Eileen doesn't know wat songs to select..
We were joined by Darlin & Gary at abt 11:30pm! The 3 of them opened one hard liquor coz then we onli need to pay for the liquor. When it was 12am, one of the Kbox staff brought in the cake.. Followin closely behind the staff were loud voices singing "Happy BD" song! Wat a surprise! Haha! Darlin was stunned, too! LOL!
After the BD song, I cut the cake for Darlin. It was the 1st time I cut cake for anyone! Thus, I was VERY slow.. Hee.. We then sang till 3am b4 we went home!
