Mooncake Festival, & BB Reanne's BB Shower !

Yuppie! It's Mooncake Festival today!! I ate half a piece of the Yam Mooncake which I've been yearnin for so long! *yummie*

I then went to Granny's place to pray. After we reached home from prayin, it began to rain till nite time.. There, I ate a quarter of lotus mooncake with double yolk from Wing Wah Mooncake from Hong Kong! Not bad!

Ard 7:45pm, Darlin came to fetch me to BB Reanne's full month celebration, and also to send Mama home! BB Reanne has shaved bald already! She looks so cute! She even has 2 custom-made pillows dat has her name on it! So cool! I wondered if I shld make one for Boy Boy too! Hee!

Darlin & I went to Giants Tampines for our usual grocery routine since the time is still early! We bought quite a lot of Boy Boy's stuffs such as diapers, wet tissue and nappy rash cream. *happie* Who knows, we spent 2hrs there! Wow! Dat's fast! Time to head for home! =pp

Eve of Mooncake Festival !!!

It's eve of Mooncake Festival! Yet I haven't get any mooncakes!! Dun care! Have to get it today!

I went to the Mooncake Festival Fair @Northpoint. Din c the yam mooncake with crispy outer layer.. Asked a few booths.. Onli then did I realized dat the yam mooncakes were all SOLD OUT!!! Arghh!!

I then went over to Bakerzin, wantin to get the Assorted Traditional Treasures set which consists of 2 mooncakes with yolk, and 2 w/o yolk.. And guess wat... The mooncake with yolk is sold out almost islandwide!! Arghhh!! No choice.. I bought the Mooncake Traditional set which consists of 4 w/o yolk mooncakes.. Quite reasonably priced... $32.. =)

Spent the rest of the day @Granny's place.. In the evenin while on the way home, I went to Tampines to take a look at the Mooncake Festival Fair, hopin to get the Yam mooncake which I wanna... Though I know the chances are slim... Most of the booths were closed when I reached.. I was startin to lose hope until I saw the last booth... There it is!!!! My Yam Mooncake!!! The booth is from Eater Palace aka Jin (3) Zhen (1). At least have heard of the name b4.. So the mooncake shld b of some standard!

Moreover, I c ppl queuein up for it! I got a box of 2 Yam mooncakes since onli Angela & I like it.. The mooncakes are still warm!! Fresh from the oven!!! *happie* Finalli I got the mooncake I wanna! =ppp

Card-Makin Day !!!

Today is such a fruitful day!!! After my usual routine which also includes readin newspaper (picked up this habit abt a week ago, LOL!), I started on my card-makin!

The 1st card I made of coz is for my Darlin Hubby!!! There's no occasion ard the corner.. Still, I wanna make the card for Darlin.. I wanna make a THANK YOU card (as above) to appreciate all the love, and patience, & effort (especialli in his work) dat Darlin has put in for Boy Boy & I!

Well, has been abt 10mths since I last did cards... Creativity has been blocked.. I spent near an hr tinkin of the design for the card.. It realli wasn't ez... Finalli, after 3 long hrs of hard work, the card is completed!!! I'm not very satisfied with the design though...

Next, I did a card for Mama (as above) since her BD is round the corner! Coincidentalli, it's on the same day as Angela's Mom! LOL! I spent abt 1.5hrs on the card... Well, still, I'm not very satisfied with the design, too.. Tink gotta start to exercise my brain already!!! Haha!

I put the card meant for Darlin on our bed.. I was tinkin he might not have noticed it even though the card is in a strickin yellow envelope.. Who knows, Darlin noticed it the moment he stepped into the room!! Hahaha! Darlin was very happie to c the card! He also agreed with me dat there need not b any occasion for me to give him any cards.. Heehee..

Darlin screened thru the card thoroughly, praisin me for takin care to take note of the details used in the card! He also noticed dat the materials used for this card are different from the other cards which I've made for him previously! Haha! *thankie, Darlin* Darlin seems to like the card more than wat I've expected! Heehee! *happie*

I managed to gain a smile from Darlin today!!! Yuppie!!! =ppp

Got My Card-Makin Stuffs !!!

Went out with Jobian to Plaza Sing to take a look @my card-makin stuffs! It was then dat I realized dat most of the arts stuffs in the art shop @Plaza Sing was overly priced! Saw a set of rubber stamps which I like... A pity the sizes are too small.... Din get anythingy from there..

Also sampled some mooncakes from the Mid-Autumn Festival Fair @Plaza Sing. Had wanna get the traditional mooncakes from Bakerzin... But, it was out of stock!!! Arghh!!!

Had dinner @KFC b4 headin for Urban Write @Tampines One! I was determined to get some card-makin stuffs b4 my passion for it goes off!

Yuppie! Managed to get some stuffs!!! *happie* Spent $35 there! Jobian then sent me home!

Okie! Finalli I can get started on my card-makin!!! =ppp

Boy Boy Is In 34th Week !!!

Yuppie!!! Boy Boy is in 34th week already!! How time flies!!! Boy Boy has gained 200g which makes him 1.8kg while I've gained 1kg! And all these is juz within 2 weeks!!! LOL! Dr Heng mentioned dat Boy Boy is within the acceptable weight range! Heehee! Dr Heng also did a Vaginal Extract for me to c if there's any infection.. Cost $42.50. Result will b known next week! Haha!

Darlin then sent me back home after buyin lunchie for me while he went to office. Had wanna go to an art shop @Plaza Sing, but no one to accompany me there.. So din go in the end..

Spent the day @home doin some admin, and miscellaneous stuffs.. Not bad.. Still considered a fruitful day! Haha!

Darlin then bought dinner back for me! Heehee!

New Inspirin Card-Makin Ideas !!!

Nth muchie to do.. So thought of goin back to my hobby - card makin to keep me occupied! Haha! Cannot stand the feelin of lazin ard!

Browsed thru the net for some ideas! Yuppie! Found it! 1st of all, I needa go get some rubber stamps, and ink pads! Haha! The 1st place dat came to my mind was Urban Write @Tampines One! Kor had promised to buy the art stuffs for my card-makin as belated BD pressie!! Hee *thankie, Kor*

B4 meetin up with Sis, and Sarah @Tampines Qi Ji to have dinner, I went to shop ard Urban Write on my own 1st coz I simply can't wait anymore! The thought of new inspirin ideas to do my cards made me SO EXCITED!!! Haha! Well, din manage to find the type of rubber stamps which I wanna.. Wat a disappointment... Now, I can onli wait for a chance to go Plaza Sing to have a look at the art shop there..

After dinner with Sis, and Sarah, we shopped ard Tampines Mall.. However, it was already 9:30pm, and most of the shops are either preparin for closin or closed already.. Not long after dat, we went home..

Swensens Ice-cream-Cum-Dessert Buffet !!!

Din feel good this noon.. Back hurts no matter wat sittin position I'm in.. After a nap, I felt betta!

Darlin & I thought dat we'll b delayed by the heavy traffic in Orchard due to F1 Race.. Who knows, the traffic was rather smooth!!! *phew* Luckily, John & Angela were already in the queue when Darlin & I reached.. If not, we might have to wait for quite sometime b4 it's our turn.. A while later, Sis & Jason turned up! While queuein up, we realized Angela had forgotten to bring her 1-for-1 voucher... Oppz!!! Fortunately, with glib-tongued John & Darlin ard, and also coz the service staff is a nice person, we managed to get another 1-for-1 voucher! Haha!

Knowin dat we can make a dash for the long anticipated buffet already, I was rather excited! In fact, I dun even know which counter to start off with 1st.. Ice-cream, waffles, or cakes 1st?? Finalli, all of us started off with the ice-cream counter 1st while Darlin waited patiently @the table for us!!! The queue for the ice-cream was realli long! The max. one pax can take is 5 scoops of ice-cream per round.. Jason & I took 3 scoops each 1st, since we can queue up again later!! Haha! I din take a lot of toppings though..

Jason got sick of the ice-cream after the 1st round, and din even eat finished his ice-cream! He said coz I've got him too ice-creams which're too chocolately... But I thought all kidz like chocolately stuffs?!! LOL! Sis & Angela commented dat the waffles are nice! I immediately went to queue up for it after my 1st round of ice-cream! Well, it was not bad.. Haha!

Next, we shared two bowls of Fondue (one chocolate, and one white chocolate). To b honest, it's the 1st time I had Fondue! LOL! I prefer the white chocolate one!!! Hee! We got to dip bananas, cream puffs, and marshmellows in it!!! Fun! Then it's the cakes! I dun realli like the cakes, though.. Might b coz I dun fancy cakes in the 1st place, or probably coz we got sick of the sweet stuffs! LOL! In fact, the cakes seemed untouched! Haha!

Sis & I made a final dash for the ice-cream counter since we wanna made our money worth! Luckily, the queue was rather short at this point of time! We chatted awhile more b4 departin ways.. In short, I'd say the Ice-cream cum Dessert buffet is worth a mizz coz we din realli ate a lot even though there were lotsa ice-cream flavors, & toppings, and desserts to choose from coz ya'll sick of the sweet stuffs very soon.. And it's not even fillin! LOL!

John & Angela went home while Darlin, Sis, Jason, & I shopped ard ION for awhile more.. After Sis got a top, and a shorts from MANGO, we made our way home separately! Darlin & I went to Bedok Interchange to get dinner! Then it's Home Sweet Home!!! =ppp
