2010 New year Eve !

Spent New Year Eve @Suntec! Finally got a jacket for Precious Jaen from Fox Babies for juz $17 (U.P. is $27)! Also got another top for Precious Jaen which is meant for him to b wore in another few months' time for juz $8 (U.P. is $13.90)! Hee! Darlin also bought a top meant for CNY from TopShop! We then had dinner @one of our favourite restaurant, Shin Kushiya! We ate to our hearts' content! *so yummie* *slurp slurp* Had a Toffee Nut Frappacino (our favourite!) @Sarbucks before meeting Sandra to get the Management Planner 2011 for Merlin. By the time we reached home, it's already 11pm! *happie*

1st Attempt @Mee Tai Mak !

Had Mee Tai Mak for breakfast today!

Added in lean pork, fish, and veggie!

Result: Luckily for Granny's self-made chilli, the Mee Tai Mak tasted great! Hee!

However, the French Toast doesn't taste as nice as before...

Overall, it's still okie!

However, muz buck up more!

X'mas Celebration !

*phew* Precious Jaen has recovered from his fever which occured after takin the jab yest!

Had lunch with Daddy & Mommy @the nearby market before headin to Jurong Point! Bought 2 tops from NET, and Dano! After dat, we went over to Centris to meet up with Darlin's colleagues to celebrate X'mas!

Who knows, they've forgotten to book the function rooms!.. So we're only left with the BBQ pits, Pool room, and Mahjong room... However, the Pool room has got no chairs, while the Mahjong room is not ready for the time being as there're still ppl playin in there.. So for a start, we're only left with the BBQ pits!... The best part is that it started to rain cats and dogs all of a sudden!

Precious Jaen and I got drenched while tryin to get into sheltered area! I hurried changed Precious into another set of clothes which we brought along!

Luckily, the Mahjong room is ready by then! We stayed all the way there till 10:30pm! Poor Precious Jaen did not get to sleep, eat, and drink enough for the whole day! By 10pm, Precious Jaen is fast asleep in my arms when the gift exchange took place!

Precious Jaen is so tired that he slept all the way till morning, only wakin up once at nitez to drink milk..

Gifts from the exchange: 2 sets of bath slippers, and bath towels! Precious Jaen also got a GPS Steerin Wheel from Wayne & Candy, and a 2 piece Transport Puzzle from Darlin's colleague, Jess!

X'Mas Eve 2010 !!!!

It's X'mas Eve!!!

The mornin started by bringing Precious Jaen for his jab which's supposed to b taken when he's a yr old!

We then had Mac for breakfast! Dr Loke mentioned that Precious Jaen gotta eat more (let Precious Jaen eat more solid food since he dun wanna his milk). If not, Precious Jaen gotta take vitamins!

Precious Jaen loves the hotcakes, harshbrown, and sausage! *yeah*

After resting @home, we went to Vivo! We had an early dinner @Sushi Tei! Fantastic dinner! I especially love the scallops while Darlin loves the Tuna Sushi with Fish Roe the most! Precious Jaen loves the Garlic Fried Rice with Chix most, and dislike the Cod Fish as it has got some sauce drizzled over it which gave it a weird taste!

We then shopped, and chilled @Starbucks, followed by grocery shoppin @Giants! We bought lotsa grocery!!! *happie*

American Style Breakfast !!!

It's been so long since I cooked!

This morn, I prepared American style breakfast for Sis & I! And.... Sis loves it!!!

We even agreed to have breakfast prepared by me often! Hee!

Though this time round, it's juz simple Cheese Omelette with Toast, Baked Beans, and Cream of Mushroom Soup, it's the effort put in that counts! N most importantly, I feel happie to c Sis enjoyin the breakfast I prepared!

Our 6th Yr Dating Anniversary !!!

6th Yr Dating Anniversary Celebration !!!

Celebrated our 6th yr Datin Anniversary @Outback Steak House (dinner)!

Decided on Outback coz I wana have steak! In the end, I din order that coz the cravin is no longer there! LOL!

Darlin & I ordered lotsa food! Appetitzer is the Fried Onion (have forgotten the dish name), Potato Bacon Soup, Caesar Salad, Jacket Potato, and bread with butter (complimentary)! Main dish is Pork Chop! As the portion for the Fried Onion, and Pork Chop is rather big, we couldn't finish the food in the end, especially the Jacket Potato which I had insisted on orderin... All the food were quite salty! Ironically, the Pork Chop is especially delicious coz it's salty enough! LOL! We chatted non-stop thru'out the dinner! *happie*

We then went to Coffee Bean to chill out! Thankie to Daddy & Mommy for helpin us to fetch Precious Jaen from Godma's place so dat Darlin & I can chill out till a later time!

We only reached home @11+pm!

After 12am, I passed Darlin the Mont Blanc Cardholder, and the handmade card! Darlin said he wanna convert the cardholder to a wallet instead! LOL! I'm fine with it as long as Darlin is happie with it! Darlin also agreed that the card is simple lookin..

We then watched "Die Hard 4" on the movie app in iPhone as there isn't any nice movie screenin at that moment..

Though this is juz a simple celebration, I'm really happie that everythingy went smoothly!

Advanced X'mas Celebration !!!

Celebrated advanced X'mas with Mom, Sis, and Sarah!

Had lunch @Thai Express Tampines One (more of tea time actually).

Mom got a X'mas deco for Precious Jaen, and a set of rings from Diva for me! Sis & I got a bag and Shawl for Mom! Hee!

We also tried to let Precious Jaen sat on the car ride which requires coins to b slot in. However, we din slot in any coins coz we dunno if Precious Jaen is still afraid of it. Unlike the previous time, Precious Jaen enjoyed sittin on the car so muchie that he refused to go! LOL!

In juz 1 day, Sis and Sarah took over 200 pics of Precious Jaen!

Preparation For X'Mas !!!

Finally had the time to do X'mas card for Darlin! I'm losin creativity juice considerin I haven't did any cards for the past 1yr plus... LOL! Took abt 2hrs plus to do the card for Darlin coz juz couldn't tink of a satisfactory design!

Went X'mas shoppin with Sis @Orchard in late noon! It was indeed a tirin trip but fun! We even got a furry reindeer headband for Precious Jaen from ION Daiso! *cute*

Sis also bought lotsa thingys for herself! We came out with the intention of gettin pressies for Mom but din get any in the end...

Precious Jaen is A Big Boy !!!

WOW! My Precious Jaen has grown up!

He can:

1. Bite little pieces of food off from a bigger portion of food e.g. bread (coz his upper 2 teeth are in the midst of growin!)

2. Feed me when I open my mouth to signal to him that I wanna eat!

3. Tear small pieces of food off from a bigger portion e.g. bread to feed himself!

4. Push the food that's on the corner of his mouth inside his mouth!

5. Play with me by putting food near my mouth, and taking it away when my mouth goes near! he'll even smile when he knows I've fallen for his trick! LOL!

Gifts for Everyone !!!

Had lunch with Fumei @Raffles City, after which we went shoppin together!

It was great fun chattin, and shoppin with Fumei, which of coz wasn't to wat I expected! LOL!

This is only the 2nd meetup we had, and we knows we hit it off really well! Probably coz she's really friendly, and bubbly!

Anyway, finally bought the Mont Blanc cardholder for Darlin as our 6th Dating Anniversary cum X'mas gift 2010! Also managed to settle the 2 X'mas gifts (one floral fragrance shower cream set from Marks & Spencer, and one shower gel set from The Body Shop) for TIP's X'mas Gift Exchange! Also got 2 pressies for Daddy & Mommy (Dove Shower Cream, and Nivea Body Lotion respectively)!

X'mas is indeed a season to give and share! And... I'm LOVIN it!!! =ppp

Precious Jaen Loves Pears !!!

Precious Jaen had his 1st taste @pear today!

@1st try, he rejected it.. He dun even wanna try a 2nd time when I tried to shove some into his mouth again.. I attempted a few more times before Precious Jaen is willing to try a 2nd mouthful..

Then slowly, the 3rd, 4th, 5th mouthful and etc followed!!!

Visiting BB Huixian, and more shoppin !!!

Finally got the time to visit BB Huixian! She's such a cutie, and as pretty as her Mommy!!!

We then did some X'mas shoppin @Tampines! Had wanna get sth for the gift exchange for TIP.. We searched for quite sometime but still couldn't find any suitable gifts..

In the end, we ended up getting "Pay Day" for ourselves and 2 X'masy tops for Precious Jaen!!!

Little Precious Is Recoverin !!!

Finally, Little Precious is left with only cough! fever has completely subsided by 23rd Nov 2010 while flu is almost gone!

It was a real torture for Precious Jaen & I in the last 2 weeks that Precious Jaen was unwell.. Everytime, we gotta "force" the medicine down on Precious Jaen.. And, everytime I gotta bear with his cries, and screams.. Whenever Precious Jaen woke up from his noon naps and sleep, he'll cry uncontrollably for no reason, and we'll have a tough time calmin Precious Jaen, and gettin him back to sleep.. I even cried with Precious Jaen at one time when Darlin wasn't home with us..

Anyway, I'm glad all that is over now! Heehee! To reward me for takin care of Precious Jaen all by myself for the past 2 weeks, Darlin brought Precious Jaen & I to Mad Jack Cafe @White Sands Shoppin Mall for dinner! By the way, I haven't step outta the house in these 2 weeks too.. LOL! So I was really thrilled to go White Sands Shoppin Mall for dinner!

We ordered lotsa food! Appetitzers are Calamari, Cheesy Fries, and Mushroom Soup! Main dish are Fish & Chops, and Chicken Chop! To our disappointment, none meet our standard except for mayb the Chicken Chop which's of borderline standard.. Darlin tink the Fish & Chips is not bad!

Anyway, it's a 1st time for Precious Jaen @eatin fried fish! And he loves it!!! Heehee!

Precious Jaen is sick !!!

Little Jaen started runnin a fever after his noon nap which's ard 5pm! And, the fever kept goin up!

We put on KoolFever patch every 4hrs from 6:30pm onwards, and also let Precious Jaen drank some Calpol. @3am, we decided to bring Precious Jaen to East Shore as his body seems to b burnin, and his face and body were red! It gave me a shock when I saw it!

Had wanna go to Dr Ho tmm, but decided not to wait anymore! Luckily, the doc @East Shore said it's juz a trivial matter, and gave us more medicine! Well, he did mention that the amt of Calpol which we gave Precious Jaen is not enough for his age! So we gotta increase the dosage! Also, Calpol is meant to b kept in the fridge! It cost $113.50 in all! But as long as my Precious Jaen is well, the amt is not a problem.

After reachin home, we fed Precious Jaen with the medication. He protested so strongly dat tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably.. Still, for his good, we gotta "force" the medicine down on him.. After all the strugglin, it's alrdy 5am..

Precious Jaen is so tired that he drank his milk halfway, and even slept without his paciifier!

Hari Raya Haji !

It's a public holiday today!

In the noon time, Darlin & I brought Precious Jaen to Gwyneth's 4th BD celebration @Polliwogs! Precious Jaen had great fun playin among the colored balls!

After dat, we went to Chomp Chomp to have dinner with Xinzhi & gang followed by dessert at a dessert house dat's within walkin distance from Chomp Chomp!

It was a nice gatherin! Hope to c Xinzhi & Yiqu soon again!

Went on a shoppin spree today @Tampines Mall! *happie*

Bought a pack of 3 3/4 sleeves tops for Precious Jaen, a straw brush for Precious Jaen's Magmag Drinkin Mug, 4 bottle teats (all from Mothercare), 1 "My Body" poster, and 1 "Animal" poster from Popular (since Precious Jaen is learning to identify the thingys ard him now)! Hee!

Also bought a black SONA standing fan with remote control that cost $88 (with 1 more yr warranty, it's a total of $100.90) from Courts coz with the current fan, Precious Jaen can't get muchie wind...

So happy that we bought so many thingys today!!! *yippie*

Little Jaen tasted a bit of the Cinnamon Bread Sticks, and Pizza! And.... He loves it!!! Heehee!

Had wanna let Little Jaen has a go @the car where we slot in $1 for a ride.. But he's scared of it.. The moment we put him down in the ride, he looked to us for help! LOL!

Steamboat Gathering @Eunice's New House !

Darlin kept Precious Jaen & I accompany for the whole day today! *so happy*

We spent the whole day shoppin (with only a little bit of time spent @one of Darlin's job site)! Hee! I LOVE it when Darlin has time to accompany Precious Jaen & I on a weekday!! Hee!

We bought 20 Chix Wings to Eunice's place as side dish! The steamboat gatherin was fun! Precious Jaen enjoyed it, too! Credit goes to Gary Loh who surrendered all his expensive belongings e.g. Mont Blanc Pen, Credit Card, and Money for Precious Jaen to play! LOL!

Did lotsa catchin up with colleagues, too!

I LOVE My Hubby !!!

I woke Darlin up @12+am yest coz I'm famished, and yet I dun wanna eat alone in the livin room.. Hee... Even though it's after much disturbin that Darlin woke up, nonetheless, I really appreciate it.. *thankie, Darlin*

Today, I called Darlin in the noon time to tell him that I crave for Katsu Don, and Chawanmushi for dinner! I asked Darlin if he can wrap up his work earlier today, and come fetch me for dinner.. He was reluctant.. But he assured me he'll try to finish his work asap!

True enough... I was nappin halfway when Darlin called @6:30pm to ask me go get ready, and dat he'll come fetch me @7pm to go for dinner @Sakae Sushi! *yuppie*

I muz definitely give credits to Darlin for givin in to me constantly (be it my temper, my cravings, etc).. And most importantly, Darlin is willin to prioritize me when it comes to work and me! *thankie a million, Darlin*

So even though the dinner wasn't a satisfyin one (coz the food has dropped standard), overall, I enjoyed the dinner! =ppp

Baby Zara Top, and Big Boy Precious Jaen !

Finally bought Precious Jaen's BD top from Baby Zara @Liat Towers!

Also bought Butterscotch Popcorn from Cornery @ION! *yummie* It's a pity the 2 cheese flavor (cheddar cheese, and white cheese) isn't comparable to that in Universal Studio S'pore..

My Precious Jaen is a big boy alrdy! Precious Jaen held the milk bottle by himself and drank finished the whole bottle of milk by himself! In the past, he'll only hold the bottle for awhile then he'll play with the bottle or he'll be too tired to hold the bottle for too long a period of time..

But well, Daddy & Mommy's Precious Jaen did it!!! Precious Jaen has started to hold his own milk bottle, and feed himself! YEAH!

Well done, Precious Jaen!!! Daddy & Mommy are so proud of ya!!!

Precious Jaen Starts To Drink From a Straw !!!

After numerous attempts, finally Precious Jaen starts to drink from a straw!!!

This time round, when I put the straw mug near to Precious Jaen's mouth, Precious Jaen looked @me as if to say: Not this again?? Never mind.. Since Mommy wanna me to try, I'll try!

When he puts his mouth closer to the straw, who knows, Precious Jaen din bite the straw like wat he did the previous times! He actually sucked from it!!! I was really happie, and thought I was seein thingys!!

Let Precious Jaen drink from the straw mug a few more times... For a start, Precious Jaen does not know how to control the water flow, so he tends to choke on it.. LOL!

Precious Jaen's New Sleepin Pattern !!!

Precious Jaen has got new sleepin pattern! Now he'll juz roll on the bed till he finds a comfortable position (normally it's on the quilt). Then he'll lie there quietly, starin up @the ceiling till he dozes off..

Sometimes, we dun even need to pat his little buttock! LOL!

Hope this pattern will continue! Then askin Precious Jaen to sleep will be as ez as ABC! Hee!

New Bottle For Precious Jaen !!!

A Very Memorable Day !

Yes! A Very memorable day indeed! 13th Oct 2010!

Today, Darlin specially switched his duty with Gary, and pushed his appts away to go in search with Precious Jaen & I for childcare centres, and to settle the BD favors for Precious Jaen's BD!

Woke up @7:30am! The 1st childcare appt is 9:30am with Bright Kids School House Pte Ltd@Punggol Central. Was not impress as the space is very limited, and the environment seems so messy, and dim lighted..

2nd one is with Faith Educare @Edgefields Plains. The space is much bigger here.. Lightin is good, and the principal is also friendly. The best part is that they operates till 9pm! So most probably, I wouldn't have to pay any late penalty for fetchin Precious Jaen! Hee!

3rd one is with Bright Kids School House Pte Ltd @Punggol Field. The environment is by far the best choice as it's not only spacious, the lightin, and ventilation is good too! However, their operating hrs is only till 7pm.. Hmm... Tough choice to make...

Soon, it's 1:30pm. On our way to Make in Candy @United Square, Darlin make a stop @one of his job site to check on something while Precious Jaen & I napped in the car..

Had Texas Chicken @United Square.. It totally sucks! Tasteless WHIPPED POTATO, weird-taste biscuit, yucky original chicken! Arghhh! Ruined my appetite!

Went to Made In Candy! Ordered 60 jars of custom-made jars with custom-made candies (blueberry mixed with raspberry flavor) for Precious Jaen's BD for $216! *happie*

Dat's lotsa kids' boutiques @United Square! We managed to get a pair of light blue skinny jeans for Precious Jaen (to b wore @his BD party) from Cotton On Kids for only $29.95! *happie* Actually, we had a hard time gettin Precious Jaen to try on the jeans.. He cried and screamed loudly whenever it's tryin time!

Also walked over to Novena Square to look ard.. But there izn't any kids' boutiques in sight...

Time flies, and it's 7pm! We went to fetch Mommy off from work @Novena Square, and off we went home!

Such a fruitful day it had been! *yeah*

Precious Jaen is 11mths Old!!!

Precious Jaen is 11mths old!!!

By now, Precious Jaen can:

1. feed himself biscuits from his biscuit box

2. communicate his wants to ya thru' his multiple facial expressions e.g. wanting ya to continue singin him his nursin rhymes!

3. stand longer without support on the bed (coz he seems to b afraid of the cold and hard floor, haha!)

4. likes to feel all sorts of different textures

5. laugh heartily in lotsa different ways

We had a wonderful time shoppin @Vivocity for Precious Jaen's 1 yr old Bd celebration outfit! Tried Baby Gap, and Baby Zara! Baby Zara's one is the best lookin! But the skinny jeans is quite ex: a whoppin $60! If not, would have bought it immediately coz the cutting and design is realli superb! The top is $24.90. So dat's still okie.. Anyway, we'll continue to look ard.. If we realli couldn't get a more suitable and nicer one, we'll settle for Baby Zara! We had a hard time gettin Precious Jaen to try on the clothes... He kept screamin away, and wrigglin about! LOL!

We also shopped ard for Precious Jaen's celebration goodie bags! Have shortlisted a few items! Yeah!

Mid-Autumn Festival !

Somehow, this year Mid-Autumn Festival juz doesn't feel like it... Not much atmosphere..

We spent the day @Granny's place!

Precious Jaen din get to play with his 2 lanterns... Well, he did play awhile with them yesterday and a few days back.. One was given by an event that Mommy brought Precious Jaen to while the other one is given by Godma.

We din get to eat any mooncake except the one given by our tour guide, Kim, on the coach in Europe..

Europe Trip Day 2

Time to be used for this Europe Trip blog entry will all be in Europe time (which is 6hrs behind S'pore time). Currency exchange rate at this point of time is 1.76Euro to 1SGD.

Reached Frankfurt Airport @7:30am. The queue was a disaster @first as we dun even know where the queue starts! While queuein up, we saw a man ridin a bicycle into a shop @the airport, and also a lady with a dog in the airport! WOW! Not long after, our tour leader by the name of Kim, managed to get us all properly into the queue, and dat's where thingys got speed up!

On our way to the 1st stop, a Cathedral (forgotten the full name), Kim told us that the normal drivin speed for drivers on Frankfurt expressway is 130km/hr or more! Wow!

I stood in front of the awe-inspirin cathedral, totally amazed by the build, and design of it! We went into the inside of the Cathedral. It was very beautiful with colorful painted windows! It was really huge in there, and it seems like a service is goin to start soon..

We had Mac for breakfast. Darlin and I ordered a Filet Burger meal, and a Chicken Napoli Burger, and it cost 7Euro! Indeed, everythingy in Europe is juz EXPENSIVE!

Continued shoppin ard the Cathedral area. Bought a loaf of Sugar Butter Toast from Merzenich which tasted fantastic @the 1st few bites, but not so nice after dat.. Bought a pair of black bottom for Precious Jaen @only 6.95Euro!

While goin back to the coach, we purposely went passed the cart which sells the Curry German Sausage, and it was open alrdy! The curry sausage is called the "Curry Wurst"! It tasted yummie! I like it! The cart is situated near the Cathedral, and it cost 2.50Euro!

We quickly made a toilet trip to Mac since Kim said that the next toilet break is 2hrs later! Almost all of Germany is abt money! Even visitin the toilet @Mac cost 0.50Euro/pax! Some places may even charge up to 3Euro/pax for juz a toilet visit! Also, Mac charges 0.19/packet of chilli sauce... *faintz*

Next stop is Amsterdam, Netherlands! Took us 4hrs from Frankfurt to Amsterdam! We first went the Cheese & Clog Factory! The cheese were extremely yummie even though they looked hard! LOL! The Smoked Cheese is the yummiest!! We were shown how clogs were made. Some clogs were really cute! Had wanna get a cow design clog for Precious Jaen but din in the end coz we know it's not practical.

Dinner was @a Chinese restaurant, Fu Lu. The food was better than expected! Overall, it's quite tasty! There's plain rice, accompanied by Chicken and Lotus soup (almost tasteless), Fried Fish (looks plain but tasty), stirred-fried Cabbage, stirred-fried Broccoli (both are fanstastic), Prawns (not fresh), and a plate of Cha Siew which I dun really fancy.

After dinner, we strolled to Dam Square (a place that's equivalent to Orchard Road). The famous Red Light District is nearby, too! It was really an eye-opener! All of them were scantily dressed in onli bras, and panties, standin in a cubicle each to lure their "preys"! We also saw 2 sex workers whose boobs look really big and round!

Netherlands is really an open-minded country. Besides their Red Light District, here's why:

1. The ppl there can openly take Marijuana @Coffee House! But it is strictly not allowed to be taken out of the Coffee House.

2. Marriage of the same gender is also allowed! Should it be a female to female marriage, and they wanna a baby afterwards, the Gov't will seek help from the sperm bank to help them!

3. Saw 4 urinals in public, and one guy really pee-ed into it!

Soon, it's night time.. We made our way to Hotel Postilion. It's a lousy hotel! There's no bathroom slippers, no aircon, no refill of the tissue paper, and no fridge! Also, the showerin area partition in the bathroom is extremely small, and the bed is very hard! Arghhh! In the end, we even gotta use a fan! *faintz*
