Home-Cooked Lean Meat Porridge, and Sweet & Sour Fish !



For the first time, I marinated meat! In fact, I never marinated anything before... LOL!

Since Granny bought lotsa lean meat for me, thought I can put them to good use by cookin porridge with it!

I marinated usin sesame oil, pepper, and light soy sauce.. Smells nice! Haha!

I also added Spinach to the porridge!

Result: Not yummy! Somewhere, the taste is lackin... Probably not salty enough...

Chinese food is indeed a difficult skill to master... Easy as it might seem, but not when it comes to the practical side... At least I find it tough to master... Never mind! I'll work on it again! As the saying goes: Practice makes perfect!

Also, I cooked Sweet and Sour Fish last week! Turned out great for a 1st timer like me! But I must take note not to fry the fish for too long next time coz it turned out abit hard to chew.. Haha!
